I continue to work in a clinic for the Irish Blue Cross as I love meeting patients and their owners in person.

During those six years, I also started working part-time for the animal welfare veterinary charity, the Irish Blue Cross. Another six-year spell in the field of emergency and out-of-hours veterinary care followed with the Pet Emergency Hospital in Dublin. In 2002 I started an eight-year spell in the field of emergency out-of-hours veterinary medicine, working for Vets Now in Glasgow and Stoke.īy 2010, feeling a little homesick, I returned home and spent six years working in a companion animal veterinary hospital in Drogheda.

I then spent six years in companion animal private and charity practice in Scotland before spending four years working for the RSPCA at their Wildlife Hospital and Rehoming Cattery in Cheshire. I graduated in 1992 from University College Dublin and spent my first two years as a Companion Animal Medicine Intern at Glasgow Vet School.
